why it matters

The Home Is Often the Largest Asset on the Table

Kwaku Mitchell holds the Certified Divorce Real Estate Expert (CDRE®) designation and works alongside Central Florida attorneys to bring clarity, neutrality, and court-ready expertise to divorce-related real estate matters.

Why Attorneys Refer

A Real Estate Partner Who Understands the Stakes

Divorce cases require a different skill set than standard real estate transactions. Here is what attorneys across Central Florida have come to rely on.

Discretion

Sensitive cases handled with professional confidentiality. Personal details stay protected. Communication flows through the right channels.

Proactive Communication

Regular, structured updates to counsel so you are never caught off guard by a client question. Separate communication tracks for each party when needed.

Court-Ready Documentation

Reports formatted for legal proceedings and prepared to withstand opposing counsel review. Defensible methodology, clear comparables, and a value conclusion you can rely on in court or mediation.

True Neutrality

Trained through the Ilumni Institute and the Collaborative Family Law Group to remain impartial. Represents the property and the process, not either spouse.

the process

How a Referral Works

A straightforward, four-step process from initial contact to final delivery. Built to make the referral easy for you and the engagement smooth for your client.

1. Initial Consultation

You reach out with the details of your case. We discuss scope, timeline, and the specific services needed. Fee quote provided.

2. Property Walkthrough

For full reports, Kwaku conducts a walkthrough of the subject property. For historical or desktop valuations, this step is adapted based on the engagement.

3. Report Preparation and Delivery

The report is prepared using current or historical MLS data, comparable analysis, and market trend research. Delivered directly to you and any other parties you designate.

4. Ongoing Communication

We remain available for follow-up questions, supplemental analysis, expert testimony if the case proceeds to court, and separate party communication if a sale is coordinated.
